Hi,
It's not T-fitting stuff. It's a simple valve - one way in, one way out. Inside there is a ball and spring. The compressed air goes into the valve and hits the ball. If the pressure is bigger than the spring's force - the ball moves and lets the pressure go through. You can calibrate it just by shortening or lenghtening it. That's that simple!
I connected it between wastegate actuator and intake manifold. There is no risk of vacuum going to wastegate, because the MBC design doesn't allow vacuum to pass through. The turbocharger tap is not used and I clogged it.
The benefit of connecting MBC to intake manifold rather than to turbo tap is constant pressure at intake manifold.
