Out of curiosity, what type of dyno were you running on? I've had my car on a Mustang dyno - the owner of the shop tunes Porsches (ever ridden in a 650hp 911? ... DAAAAAAAMN!) and told me that some dynos are more optimistic than others... I'm just trying to get a comparison to my '90 SPG. Also, I assume the numbers you gave were "flywheel corrected" and not front wheel horsepower, but perhaps I'm wrong? 200 FW HP would be unreal on a c900... that could be near 270 or 280 flywheel horse... My SPG turned in about 110 HP @ the wheels in bone stock form (save for the uprated distributor which I didn't feel like taking off). The owner told me, for comparison, that 1st gen M3s run about 130 to 140 RW HP in stock form - they're rated at 195 flywheel horse from BMW, so his conversion sounds about right. In the end, I mustered 135 front wheel horsepower and a consistant ~250 lb ft of torque (flywheel corrected) running 14psi. There was one anomalous peak of 356 lb ft of torque (!!!!) at 3500rpm in 3rd gear when the boost spiked to 20psi but I'm guessing it just scared the dyno - the car nearly leapt off... heh... Still looks cool on the printout.

Anyway...

-Justin
