1)As everyone says, the ignition a on all LH2.X systems are stand alone. Your N/A engine uses EKZ which uses the knock sensor to retard ignition, but I do not know it's limits. You may find it necessary to use some other eletronic retard unit to add retard when on the bottle. I have also heard of problems interfacing electronic units with the EKZ system.
2)Yes the ECU gets an RPM signal, which it uses to control injector opening via the fuel map and also shuts down the fuel pump at the rev limit.
3)This one is tough to answer. As designed it suports what you have now. With a RRFPR and larger injectors, it will support more HP, but you will soon reach a point where you will have drivability problems. Turbo cars do better at supplying more fuel because they have a larger range to take advantage of the RRFPR.
4)I don't know enough about NOX systems to answer, but I suggest that any system you use should be separate from the stock system other than using your fuel pump to supply the extra fuel. I feel that modifying a trottle body spray bar or using a fogger upstream of the throttle body should be what you should be looking at using.
