For the last few months I have been expereincing some very annoying problems with my 1985 SPG.

Here they are, start to present.

When I bought this car, it ddint have any electrical problems, except that the inerior light did not work. No big deal. Since then (that was a little over a year ago) My power locks, cruise control and power antenna have ceased working. I took the car to my mechanic, who is a good mechanic, but I dont think he likes playing around with wiring, he said he could not fix the antenna, and installed one that stays up all time, and took the old unit out. The problem that really irks me is this: Many time, when I am in reverse, then hit the breaks, my CD Player, and radar detector experience a power outage for a second, the car has also stalled on occasion while hitting the breaks in reverse. Another thing I noticed one day, I had the key turned on, but the engine wasnt started, the the electric, and I noticed if I hit the break my CD Player would blink off for a second, and that if I hit the switch to open my moon roof (still works) the CD Player would also blink out, now it doesnt do this all the time, but sometimes. And Just in the past week, my headlights have blinked off for a split second while driving at night, almsot to fast to notice, but it happened nontheless.

I have like I said before, put a lot of hard work and money into this car, getting it to look very good, now the electrical system is crapping out on me.

Any ideas? I want to futher invest money into this (on mods), but I'm not sure if it is really worth it, I mean, I dont want to really spend a grand or two on nice mods but have a car that has bad wiring problems you know?

Any ideas? Any advice would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks
Keep up the great work at this great board!
