I've only had experience with the Eibach (which I have on my car) and Abbott springs.
I thought the Abbotts were too stiff; I mean you've got to remember that the chasis flexes enough as it is, a go-kart suspension is not going to help. It also gets tyring after a while.
Eibachs are an excellent handling/comfort combination. What amazed me was that with the 15" rims, they were more comfortable than stock springs over small bumps/holes, plus they are probably the most reputable manufacturer of aftermarket springs.
I think its better to have a bit softer springs so that with the Konis you can adjust for a more aggresive setup if you want.
As far as lowering the Eibachs do look quite cool.
