you have to start to look for something that has a bit of texture. All about diversification.

I must admit Chris, my HG (hunter-gather skills) have become a little soft since I moved to the coast, and now to the city. It just isn't the same tracking those overweight half-domesticated squirrels in Stanley Park. Mukaluks, beaver hat and sash are a true giveway to a Metis hunter out of his element. People in buses take pictures of me like I'm Grey Owl or something.
I'm sure I'll find good friends here yet. In fact, just yesturday, as I was snaring an unsuspecting furry beast with a twead coat, I was told by this gentleman who called himself a Mountie (what an odd description, wonder if he knows Joe from Ebb and Flow?) that it was of an unfamiliar breed, something along the lines of "Chi-wa-wa"? I told him I was hunting for sustinence in a land of moldy 500sf $1000 basement suites. However, he nor this woman with an ubruptly pointed nose (sitting in a machine named "Mar-ce-dees" nontheless), would buy any of it. I was told I had the right to remain silent, and the right to an attorney. What rights are those? Some years ago we were givin this card claiming rights to many things, but what was left was not worth taking. Now I'm left to ponder alone in a white room full of me. At least I've found some friends who have found me as well. All I could think about was this: "can we at least have our buck knife back?"

slight digression, but I like to tell a story every once in a while; metaphorically accurate of course;-)
