My intent is not to attack anyone but some comments were made regarding Nordic that I am curious about. I have no affiliation with the company in any way shape or form.
Karl made some statements regarding Nordic that I thought would have generated some discussion. It was all inititated by a question regarding Nordic tuning on 1/10/02 from gogo.
"I don't have any personal experience with Nordic. Was tempted to go that route when I first purchased my 9000 Aero, but I like to do research before heading off and buying things. So I did, and I have now taken other paths and I'm glad I did." Could you explain what steered you away? What scared you away? You make reference to the "adverse effects" found in a car ownerd by a guy [you]know fairly well, so it's first hand information." What were these "adverse effects?
Karl later talks about the sophisticated software and hardware MapTun uses and the fact that they do their own programming. How does Nordic rate in this area?
I too do research and am doing my best to get a lay of the land with these tuners. Any and all constructive inputs would be welcome.
