in closed loop I believe the ecu has to work on the lean side to keep lambda A/F ratio & I have only done this a couple of day ago so Im not sure about the mileage cold the car runs a bit rich because it is not in closed loop & at wide open throtle you gewt full enrichment but more boost too so bang more power.
today on the way home from work @ 3300 rpm 5th gear it went above 1/2 on the red & the fuel pump cut off accured briefly so I must be doing better than 14.5 lbs boost
