So your thinking of adding a 3" downpipe and a 3" cat. It also sounds like your iffy on what to do after that.
Also by increasing this size of pipe you are doing two things one reducing your EGT's and two creating a higher flowing exhaust.
You could keep your current exhaust and just have a pipe bent form a 3" pipe to the stock after the cat or just add a complete 3" exhaust system.
Not sure what the differance is between the Dawes boost controller and the Dawes full race boost controller. Is there any or is this still the manual boost controller?
I may also open another bag of worms but why spend all this money on a 3" downpipe and "best high flow cat" why not dump it into a ECU where your really going to see the most hp for your dollar. Yes the Dawes boost controller(16-17psi) is nice but no where is going to let you boost anywhere near a ECU upgrade(22+psi). It just seems to me like alot of money to spend on these upgrades but then again just my 2 cents.
