Not sure I really belong on this board, as I drive a simple, unmodified, '98 900 SETC - I read for ideas down the road. But this thread caught my eye. Just last night, I had a huge SUV decide to ride my tail with his fog lamps on - shining directly into my side mirrors!! So I pull over to let him pass me and get behind those lights (I was already doing 10 mph over a 70 mph limit and he was sticking right behind me) -- and the *&##*& moves back over behind me again!! At this point, I'd had enough. It was worth the risk of the ticket. I punched it up to 100 for a brief stretch and figured I'd lost him. But, like a bad Terminator movie ripoff, when the speed limit dropped down to 55 and I slowed down with it, sure enough here comes the behemoth again. It was very windy here last night, and you could see this thing swaying in the wind. I just wanted to stay clear. So I punched it again . . . That bastard ruined what should have been a rather pleasant evening drive.
