If it were my car I would start with a set of lightweight 17 inch wheels and see how it feels after that. Then I would go with an aftermarket coil-over kit so I could adjust the ride height down in summer and back up in winter. The Aero is too low for more than a few inches of snow.
Keep the OEM wheels for winter use with a good set of snow tires.
A different set of wheels won't bother your dealer in the least. He may start to get antsy when you start swapping out the struts. But this sort of work won't affect your general warranty in any way, other than for the parts changed.
