yeah... i just went over 100,000 a few months ago, do you think it'd be worth it to spend anymore than i have on this thing? there really isn't any way out of the situation, i couldn't sell it for 10 grand... could i?
Anyways, i got the ecu and the di/apc chips from abbott racing also...$500 for both of them. Some of the things that the guy i talked to at abbott were that, if i'm not planning on racing my car on the track... that these mods that i've done are as far as i should go, and that it's the most i'll get out of the 2.0 engine. I talked about the rrfpr, injectors, fuel pump and such, and his response was that the stock system can handle it. And not only will the stock system handle it (250 HP) but that adding aftermarket parts in the fuel system, especially if they are different brands, will only leave "bald spots" in the power band of the engine... and it won't function as well. I'm not sure what to think of all this, but he DOES work for abbott racing, and did claim to have worked on saabs for 20+ years. Where did you get your 3" downpipe... i think i need one! :)
