The "HyperBoost" addresses a couple of the Forge valve short comings.

>Finned "heat-sink" body that facilitates heat dissipation, keeping your valve cool.

I feel that the 'heat-sink' fins are of no practical value, but give they give the "HyperBoost" a unique look.

>TeflonTM impregnated piston for the most accurate and consistent action available while promoting long life.

A nice touch, it can't hurt.

>Nickel-plated entirely for durability and then anodized for further durability and appearance.

The nickel plating on the body should prevent any possibility of pitting or corrosion, though I doubt the Forge unit gets any pitting in normal use. But I don't use the aggressive "Gunk" type engine cleaners which could attack the Forge aluminum body (or other aluminum on the engine) and leave some haze or pitting.

>Utilizes larger VitonTM brand o-rings for increased piston seal to insure leak-proof operation.

The larger o-rings may or may not really change anything. A square o-ring would provide a better seal, but add to piston drag.

>Internal parts are lubricated with Mobil 1TM synthetic grease, the best you can buy.

This is a good grease to use (as are several synthetic greases on the market). Don't know what grease Forge uses.

>Connection nozzles are machined to OEM/BoschTM dimensions.

I didn't have any trouble with the Forge nozzles. I thank the Forge side nozzle is a bit longer than the stock Bosch unit which might cause a problem in space restricted applications like the Audi A6.

>O-ring sealed cap for positive locking and a leak-proof seal.

The o-ring seal on the cap is nice. The Forge unit really needed a bit of Teflon tape on the cap threads to seal completely.

I have had no problems with my Forge valve, but innovation is good. I might guess that this is a Stratmosphere in-house project so they can cut-out the middle man (Forge).
