It can be done, although you will want a BPV not a BOV - a BOV will adversely affect mixture in the CIS system (too rich) as air flow is measured mechanically. Retrofit a turbo inlet grommet with the hole for the BPV (from 16V) the bypass hose can be routed from one of the auxiliary air valve hoses on the throttle body. Lag will be reduced but overall power I don't believe will be changed. Retrofit an intercooler for more oomph.
