Brad< I had designed a CFC brace that we fit into the area that normally occupied the rear seat. This served 2 purposes; 1) Was to increase the rigidity of the chassis without compromising ride. 2) was to help serve as an anchor for motors or transmissions being taken to the machine shop in not so close places. We needed a courrier vehicle and it served its purpose well, until we moved up the food chain. Nothing ever came close to the dependability of that vehicle.
Never experienced any problems with the front end of the 900. The 900 is a very structurally sound product ,but it is dated and I agree it could use tweeking. If I did not have so much work to accomplish while I am in the USA i would take on building a integrated rear seat brace and a brace for the front rails with a more secure mounting for the steeing rack.
