I've had good luck with my Dawe's Devices MBC. This MBC is a ball and spring device that is so cheap it's like the sales tax on any Saab part, is easily installed and adjusted. The benefits are a drastic reduction in turbo lag and more stable boost levels. With short runs of silicone hose, which they provide, boost overshoot will also be reduced.
The usual caveats apply re: bypassing your APC system. Do search on MBC. Dean has written a lot of useful info.
