Tom,

1) confused me too. It's for some cold start valve that dumps more fuel, but isn't really there. Ignore the connector.

2) this probably goes to the vaccum canister that the ventilation system runs off of that always uses vaccum, not boost. The canister is right above the radiator on the driver's side.

Regarding the other connections:

1) I wondered about the nipple on the throttle body as well. To be honest, I don't know where it goes. The distributer does boost retard, but it also does vaccum advance. The throttle body nipple is on the boost-only side of the intake system.
