I bought a ball bearing turbo for my spg. The problem is it has the smaller T25 flange. I could've bought the same turbo with T3 flange from HKS but it would've costed $2200 instead of $1300. I'm working on having an adapter block machined but waiting for studs to come in. The adapter block will move the turbo forward 1.5 inch and allow me to run turbo output downward and straight to a front mount 9000IC. I know this turbo flows quite a bit but hope the new design will keep the lag down. If I were you I would consider getting another exhaust housing from a junkyard and save your money for an output pipe similar to this picture. As other posts say, your turbo has the wastegate on the inside and allows you to add a divider plate like this. It keeps the wastegate gas from disturbing the turbine outlet gas flow. I'll have one made for my new turbo.. after I finish paying for a new turbo for our '92 9000T.
