Lot's of power can be had from the little 2.0, just look at the SPG/aero in Sweden who posted a sub 12 sec 1/4 mi time as well as Mikael up in Canada who has a 99T which does 12.5'S! Adding a V6 to the front would make the cars understeer even more & it's hard enough to fix the problem. Plenty of power can be had from the little 2.0 & my goal is in the 300-350 HP range at the wheels :o) Presently I am braking in my trans & motor!!!
Rim wise, I think it's funny actually. I have heard several "rice" comments about my SPG directly to my face or through the grapevine. I guess this is because I have 18x7 forgeline wc-3 wheels (http://www.forgeline.com) on my SPG's. Personally I am completely sick of the aero & super aero wheels on C900's. I had them on my old 87 SPG (still on Dave N's site) & I liked them it's just EVERYONE has them! As many of you saw at the SOC that the majority of the modified C900's had these wheels on. I would say there were probably only 2 or 3 C900's there who had aftermarket wheels.
