Iam a rather distraught Viggen owner, I took my car out early this morning after completing 1000 miles (1500 km) and gave it it's first chance to run, previuosly I never put it over 4000 rpm for the first 750 km and not more than 5000 for the 1500 km. I managed to get it to 230 Km/H only before my car ran out of steam !!! Has anyone else tried this or am I expecting too much too soon.
I did have a little robot to robot run with a BMW M3(modified)hot one too 164 kw on the wheels, some 30 kw more than my Viggen, I was stronger from 2nd through to 4th as he battled to stay with me. He commented afterwards that the Viggen beat him on low down torque. The whole event was witnessed by My Opel club collegues, who consider him to be the master of sprints.
My Old 900 incidently used to pull away from him at topend, he has since removed the govenor and a tuner found an extra 30 kw.
Well I suppose you cannot have everything!!
