Thanks Eric,
I'm in agreement after driving around more today and also checking back with my indy mechanic. I performed the driving boost check today - 3000 rpm in 4th gear, apply brakes and throttle to WOT. Pressure went to 12 psi and held steady.
you are right, the T7 seems to require boost only briefly unless under high load and acceleration (as in testing or on a hill accelerating).
Any comment on the idle/coasting pressures? My mechanic suggested -15 in Hg was more typical. I see -18-19 at idle. Also, while coasting down a hill, it drops to -25.
