Sounds like a great time! My first track experience was in Seattle at SIR, so of course it rained in the afternoon. I had much the same experience as I was able to maintain 90% of my earlier speed in the rain but the Porsches had to slow much more, leaving the SPG fastest car out there (for awhile - until my brakes died)!
Those tire pressures are very close (within 1 psi) to what I used in my '98SE on the track, for the same reasons. You get that nice rotation with trail braking and high rear pressures! And the front end sticks a little better with less pressure/more contact patch. I'm curious about what wheel and tire combo you used?
Hopefully you will add a roll bar / suspension / viggen IC and take it out again!
