Although the newly restyled Elise only has a 1.8 L Turbo 4 rated at 128 hp, the car only weighs 700Kgs enabling 0-60 mph in 5.8 sec. The Esprit turbo is a monster, and even more so with if it was the V8...
Love the Porsche's, but the Lotus is one of the more under-rated cars out there IMHO...
