this is not a saab turbo characteristic, they usually idle fine. stink did occur on another car that had high ring bypass, and higher than normal leak down rates. was a bad hone job in my case.
I did stop oil build up in IC on my track car, by just adding a small accumulator/collector in the big pcv line back to the intake. Made it from some gutted plastic fuel filters. A 'jaz mini breather' would work too (search net) .... I'd drop in a flat sheet of breather gauze from pep-boys, etc, or mabe some screen mesh.
