Yes there definately are dyno differences but i think the dyno used (your correct in saying Kevin was Power Engineering) is a highly established dyno in the UK.
The highest power my car gave was 266 flywheel bhp, the wheel bhp that i saw was 214bhp but i think this may have beeen for a different run where my car achieved 247bhp so i am saying the wheel hp could have been higher than 214bhp ( i think it may have been over 220 wheel bhp though) for the 266bhp (flywheel) run - im not sure as i was to busy being awestruck at the figures producuced.
This would lead to a lower drivetrain loss figure being produced than the 20% figure.
As a regard to accuracy there was a recently converted (2 weeks or so iirc) Trent C900 car there and a Abbott Racing C900 tuned car (chargecooler) these turned out 219bhp flywheel and 239lb/ft (Trent) and 207bhp and 220lb/ft??iirc (Abbott) respectively.
the Trent conversion is rated at 220bhp and 240lb/ft torque iirc.
We also had a sick C900T16 in which produced 160bhp & 180lb/ft (UK spec 175bhp & 201lb/ft) so i think these figures were fairly accurate.
