Hey everyone,

Just got back from Lititz SAAB, they checked out what Kevin Booth and I believed to be a bad headgasket... it checks out OK. But there was still something wrong. Last time I took it to Lititz SAAB (4 months ago) they said my turbo looked like it was heading south. Today, they took a look, and said it's gone. That's why the smoke was white, coolant leaking, it also explains some of the other problems I told them about. I trust the Lititz guys alot and know they're not trying to steal my money. They were fine with the fact that I would be buying a turbo from another company, and even told me they would give me a spare T3 turbo to give to the company as a core return.. free, providing I give them my Mitsu when they remove it from my car to install the new turbo. Really nice and honest guys.

Time to upgrade the turbo!
Here's where I need some advice... Again, the car is a 1990 SPG.

I called Turbochargers.com and they gave me some information on a T3/T04E Hybrib Turbo. They said it would flow up to about 275HP, which is more than I want to get to, so that's plenty. The cost is $695. Installation at Lititz is about $100. I'm somewhat confused on their website. The T3/TO4E is listed twice. When you click on it, the one says it is a Super 60 T3, the other says its a T3/T4E. The guy mentioned I could upgrade to the 360 thrust bearing, which WASSAAB had done, but I don't want to. This leads me to believe he was talking about the Garrett Super 60 T3 Hybrid, which has the 360 thrust bearing listed on it's website. What do you think?

Does anyone have any other turbos I should look into? I don't want to spend any more than $700.

Thanks for all your help!
Taylor
