Well, I test drove the aero. Afew thing i should note. The turbo wasn't making any boost. The car felt quick so I don't think it's the limp TCS thing but the boost gauge would go right to the center when the car was turned on and it would not move. (The owner tried to tell me it was supposed to be like that) hahah I think the current owner never felt the boost. Would this be a wastegate problem? Also, the fan relay was gone (he said it just needs a saab direct replacement) So would that mean the fans never came on? Overheating? The check engine light was on also. Would this be related to the fan relay? It also needed new rotors I think. (no biggie) Looked like a little oil from the valve cover too but i guess i would expect that from a 140k mile car.
The plusses of the car were that everything electronically worked inside, it had an alarm installed, no rust anywhere, not even underneath, no body damage either. The guy drives the car with no fear of breaking down, he came from 5 hours away. It drove decent with no scary issues. Started right up, idled fine.
Soooo....what to do now? If I was interested, I think he would sell for $2200-2500.
