You really aren't gaining or losing anything in a T5 car. Some say that recirculating the air back to the intake side keeps the turbine spinning, but i think that gain is minimal. Hey- i'm the first to admit that i'm a shallow priss for liking the BOV sound. haha. I will say, though, that when faced with spending 150US on a new BOV or BPV i was gonna spend it on a BOV based solely on the cool sound.

I think that it's just a taste thing- although i'm sure that some on these boards would say that i have none for liking my BOV. Then again, they're the people that freak when you have anything other than stock Saab wheels. Heh heh.
