I like the term acceleration skitter. As we all know the Viggen really doesn't have torque steer because the two shafts are the same length. Torque steer is evident if one shaft is longer than the other.
I did not like the break-away feel of our '99 Viggen and was convinced after talking to some of the instructors at VFA that Michelin was the way to go. I wanted a tire that did not break away from the road as quickly as the Dunlop's. I decided to make the change with less than 300 miles on the Viggen and did what tire dealers call a "take-off". I got about $150 in creddit for the Dunlops and went with the Michelin Pilot Sports. The difference was night and day. However, the Michelins are rather expensive, about $235 as I remember and I had to pay $85 to make the swap. That was good, but when it comes time to put new Michelins on the Viggen it will be 100% my cost. I would do Michelin's again. Maybe there will be an even better Pilot by then.
