If the gauge is currently wired in behind the dash, I would suggest re-routing the power and ground wires for more direct connection. Autometer AF gauge seems picky about its power and ground sources. In my case, the gauge must be directly grounded to the same ground point as the 02 sensor or it will behave erratically. The 02 sensor grounding point is on top of the cylinder head on most 900s, but double-check Bentley to be sure. Power should have a clean source also so straight from the fusebox is best.
