Yes, it will fit and start. But you'll have low boost pressure. The road speed input(from the speedo head on 9k ,from abs ecu for 900) for both ecm's is different(frequency and pulsewith). T5 needs this input to help caculate gear position to determine correct boost amount. Boost pressure is limited in first gear on 9000 and reverse. The 900 is limited in the first two gears and reverse also. The T5 uses engine rpm and road speed to caculate gear position. Therefore, if the two signals (road speed)are different, and they are, the t5 defaults to "base boost pressure". Hope this helps.
