9000 aero poly bushings vs vibration

I recently replaced the top engine mount "dogbone" bushings on my 1996 9000 aero with poly bushings. The good part is the manual shifting feels tighter. The bad part is much more vibration is transferred into the car at idle. It seems somewhat strange that this only occurs at idle and once I get the rpm's above about 1200, everything goes back to normal. Has anyone experienced similar? I know I need to change the hydraulic engine mounts and I am hopeful this will help.
Also, I changed the front control arm bushings (rear) to poly. This virtually eliminated the torque steer under hard acceleration, but also seems to create a vibration at about 75 mph. I was afraid I may have affected the control arms when I "forced" the old bushings off and the new ones on, but I would think that would be evident at almost any speed. Any thoughts appreciated.
