I find a lot of posts in this thread downright ridiculous. Talk about jumping on a bandwagon.....what a lot of people seem to be losing sight of is that knowlege is a social product. I'm certain that there is more than one person that knows how to 'tune' a T5, maybe less that know the T7. The people at MapTun were one of the first to integrate the larger injectors with T5. Dr. Boost has posted many times on the subject of safe tuning protocols - fueling and intercooling requirements for a safe +300 hp. MapTun and Hirsch both seem cognizant of the Dr's philosophy of how to safely obtain prolonged high outputs from a Saab engine. Like Saabs in general, there's a philosophy regarding risk and safety that should be considered with modifications. I've witnessed this in the software I received from MapTun and I'm sure that Hirsch would offer something similar. Like everything else in life, the choice is yours - I'm sure the engineers at MapTun or Hirsch could have produced the same results that were achieved at the SOC, but because they have a more conservative approach with developing high outputs, would have done so via a different route.
