I have the SAS skidplate, and it's not any thicker than the OEM. My 900t is lowered with JAMEX (lower than intrax). Make sure you negotiate curbs and speed bumps at an angle (if taking it head on, allow the exhaust to go through break in the bump, if any), take steep grade-transitions slower, and stay away from turtles.
If anything, watch out for your cat and silencer. My 3" cat (on 3" JT exhaust) is only 2" off the ground, but luckily near the axle, so the silencer gets more bumps/scrapes than anything.
