I always install the turbo and leave the oil supply line loose. Then put a clean rag between the oil line and turbo. Then I remove coil wire and crank engine over until I see a good amount of clean oil on the rag. With your recent machine work it's hard telling if you still have shavings in the engine. You could install another turbo and have it clog up. I would change the oil and crank the engine over much more than I normally do. Don't overheat the starter.. but I'd try cranking the engine over and refill the oil as you go. YOu can look at the clean rag for shavings.
