Performance Tire Help....P6000s must go!

I purchased my '01 Viggen in January, so I took delivery with the snow tires on. I just put the summer tires on and I am shocked at how bad these things are. The summer tires are Pirelli P6000 which I assume were the OE tires. I have experience in SCCA road racing and PRO rally and these P6000s howl like a rally tire on pavement. They also are twitchy and follow road "irregularities".
I am looking for a summer only tire that will do it all (in 3 seasons). The car is my daily driver and occaisionally will carry my family. Additionally (and maybe more importantly) I will be doing a track day or two and a few autocrosses each year. I have a good amount of autocross experience, but I know that doing a few events a year and not preparing my car to the limit of the class, I am not out to win, just have fun and be respectable. I live in New England, so wet weather capabilities are important.
Here are the tires I am looking at(215/45-17):
- Pirelli PZero Nero
- Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 - in 225/45-17
- Kumho MX
I know the Bridgestone SO-3s are great tires, but I also have heard they only last 15-25K miles and I am hoping for more life.
Thanks for your help,
Joel
