I agree. Sounds like the car was driven no different than any other high performance vehicle. He never even had it on a racetrack, where it would be seeing sustained high boost combined with G loads. Look back a few months to when another Saaber's Viggen grenaded. I can't recall specifics, but someone from Sweden chimed in that this is a fairly common occurence with the B235, something about thinning out castings or some other trick to improve fuel economy.
Anyone ever heard of a B234 turning to shrapnel after 57k (aside from timing issues in 91-93)?
Any chance that the 94+ B234 long block will go into the newer cars?
