Jak- External Wastegate Spring.... Posted by JustinHiFi [Email] (#829) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JustinHiFi) on Wed, 16 Jun 2004 09:48:30 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I was wondering/making sure the purpose of using the external spring on the turbo wategate. I am under the impression is gives the gate more pressure to hold shut, thus reducing turbo lag and such.
After speaking with you at Run for the Hills, and also speaking to a few other turbo driving friends here at home, I am aiming for a t-25/28 hybrid for my '91 9kT. I have a good spare t25 to throw in there for the time it would take to rebuild my current t-25.
Just wanted to run this accross and see if doing the spring would be beneficial to my setup...
Thanks,
JustinHiFi
