A ground wire from the engine block to the frame is really the only extra grouding you need if you do not already have one. If you look at a 9000 engine there is all ready a high quality ground in such a location.
There is a huge issue with adding more grounds to the engine and across the engine bay, you create eletrical SHORTS. In college I added two 8 guage stereo wires I had sitting around to the points those kits use and it really did little to nothing. My friend who is an electrical engineer who now works for Lockheed Martin said I was going to be sorry because I am going to end up with shorts that will cause problems down the road. I laughed at him because what could he know. Low and behold a little later I keep blowing a rear tail light, my SRS light came on, and my engine started throwing random intake air temp sensor codes while I was drive cross country. I stopped, thought about it, pulled the wires out, drove 20 miles down the road and the check engine light immediatly went away. Later I replaced the bulbs and the never blew again plus the light has been gone for a full year now. So for little to no gain I would not do this mod unless you are currently lacking any sort of engine block to frame ground.
