dictates I want the 'classic' skyline.
I think all versions were around 300hp actual, with the R34 having a bit more torque. After all it was the same engine.
The basic technology was the same, HICAS AWS, and Attessa torque split AWD (R33 and R34 were a bit more advanced), but the old R32 had classier lines IMHO, wider fender 'flares', just not so flashy. THe later models were far heavier as well, and from what I was told don't have the nimble feeling the original one had.
The Vspec can be had in the old R32 as well, closer to 1994 though. those models only differred in hte braking department, 4 pot bremo brakes, bigger wheels etc....but the original wasn't shabby, brembo calipers and huge vented discs on all 4's.
I dunno, IMHO you get more for the money with hte original one, at least for the next 5 years (15 year rule:-)
