If one of your objectives is to shed weight for track work/autoX etc. - a lot of the 'performance seats' out there are actually -heavier- than the 14 kgs a stock c900 seat weighs. Appreciable weight savings are only to be made with proper racing style buckets -reclining seats will always be pretty close to the weight of the OE seats (from ~11 kgs upwards).
Secondly, given the quality of the OE seats I would only replace them with stuff like Recaro, Sparco, Momo, Corbeau, Cobra et al, and skip the cheap Far Eastern stuff unless the car was mostly for show.
Then if you're keeping your back seat, I haven't found something that makes a happy aesthetic pairing with the OE rear bench in terms of colours, shapes and materials - the closest would be one of those hugely expensive Momo/Sparco top-of-the-line seats in tan leather (with a tan interior), and I reckon in most cases the several thousands a pair of these cost is better spent elsewhere. Particularly, the dark interior trims of c900s is antracite rather than black, and every seat I've seen is either black of a light shade of grey.
In the end, having the side bolsters of the OE seats reprofiled and upholstered with biscuit leather to contrast the tan velour, proved to be the best 'bang for buck' for me.
