I put higher rated valve springs when I had lesco rebuild the 2.1 head.
I think it was a $200 upgrade.
At low rpm's they pull just like a stock cam. Swedish Dynamics claim a change in behavior around 4500 rpm. I didn't notice the switch, but it is MUCH smoother after 4500 rpm. They will pull all the way to 6,000 and probably way past that.
I may have better luck with these cams than the florida person. I've upgraded just about everything and the cams can finish the job.
I don't think the difference would be as noticeable with a self-tweaked APC and no other engine changes.
