Hey Jordan, Jeff did an incredible job, you have to see the car in person as Dave N says to really appreciate all the work that went into it! He had to jump through hoops to get the car ready for the 2000 SOC in Kerhonkson, NY and the amazing part is that he pulled it off even having to finish the engine not long before the convention. We tricked out his connecting rods and did his 2.1 head and did his big bore throttle body. If I remember correctly we recommended a place in California where he got a good deal on a Haltech stand alone system. The engine was originally going to be a 2.1 (93mm bore) block with a 2.3 (90mm) crank which would have been close to 2.5 but things got crazy with crankshaft counter weight clearances so at the last minute JE made some 2.0 stroke pistons so
Jeff could actually make the 00 convention! Even his new turbo had a problem at the last minute! I felt bad because I was the one that recommended the guy that did turbo's for the old Group 6 company. Turned out that one of the guys employees used a USS bolts in metric threads??? That was before we did lightened Saab crankshafts like GM's but I'm sure his 94mm bore more than makes up for it! I'm not sure what Jeff used for cams? Maybe I should let him know how well our cams worked out for GM! The car was originally a black '88 SPG when I first saw it at the track in Watkins Glen. I didn't know Jeff then but my Fiancee at the time only lived 7 miles from the track so I was there quite a bit back then. Take care, Dave
