Basically its a good way to knock a few years off your life. hehe just kidding, Basically in the newer saabs with T5 engine management and up must learn about your car. When ever you lose power or make performance upgrades you need to reteach the ECU, well more like it needs to learn about your car newly added power and how to utilize it. This will take place over time, but you can shorten the process by doing adaptaions runs. Basically you put the car in 4th gear (5th if your nuts) find a straight shot of highway thats uphill. get to about 2k rpms, then floor it WOT. You can't let off the gas until you pass 4k rpms. and depending on your mods this can get pretty nuts. I have scared the crap out of myself( in a good way) the last few days and im only in a stage 3 9-3 (on snow tires)with stock turbo and IC. People at stage 4 in say a 9000 aero will damn near give you a heart attack. Hope this answers your question
