Hi chris, thanks for the pic. Your setup looks great.
Yes, I really do like my G9 intercooler. Excellent workmanship. I can really tell the difference when the engine bay is cool. Much less heat soak. In my opinion, worth the money for sure. Those guys never fail to impress me. My intercooler fan that I added is practically twice the size of Brad's. Gives you an idea how much bigger G9's unit is over stock. I plan on removing the headlight and side marker when I am racing at the track. Perfect opening for the new intercooler. First event is June 6 with the PCA.
A few questions for you...
1. What K&N did you decide to use?
2. Is your polished tube custom made? If so, how did you secure the filter to the inside panel?
3. Where did you move all the "stuff" to? (cruise pump, ignition amplifier, etc)
4. What size hole did you drill in the panel?
5. Any additional info you can tell me on your install?
I think I will be going with this option over going down below.
