'91 C900 engine into a '90 2.0T 9000?

I think I knew this at one time but my memory is getting rusty. Will a '91 900 engine go into a '90 9000? My uncle bought a '90 9000 with a broken timing chain. He has a '91 900 engine available to use if it'll work. The oil pan will need to fit the 900 engine, etc. What else will need to be done?
thanks
