I think I finally identified the slight missing...

By pure process of elimination I've concluded that one or more of my injectors are acting up.
When the engine is idling hot or cold, it just doesn't run perfectly smooth. The engine misses every now and then.
I've already replaced all of the easy stuff; plugs/wires/cap/rotor, and that didn't help at all.
Yesterday I swapped in another distributor, unplugged the MSD, and put on my old coil (testing in between each swap), none of which made any difference.
By looking at my fuel pressure gauge, I can see that the pressure is rock steady, so I don't think it's the fuel pump failing. I put on a brand new 3.0 fuel regulator, so that's not leaking.
I also checked for vacuum leaks just to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious.
I checked out the AIC valve and found that it was dead, so I installed another used one that at least opens and closes like it should.
In the end, the missing is still there and the only thing I can think of is a failing injector or two. Maybe I screwed them up by running 80+ psi of fuel pressure and 100% duty cycles for such a long time. (Before Jak came out with his great ECU chips!)
I got a brand new set of 30#'s for only $169, so even if they aren't the problem, I'm not out a ton of cake! (If they aren't the problem, I'll be completely perplexed)
Now to fix the slipping clutch!
If it's not one thing it's another.
