some systems will compensate for a number of conditions, but they take quite a bit of time and effort to tune. for example, the system i run will adjust timing, fueling and boost pressure based on intake air temperature. so in hotter weather, you can retard the timing and remove some of the fuel, and just the opposite in colder weather. so you are more likely to be able to set up one map that will adjust for the various conditions. however, it takes a lot of thought to tune correctly. i am still not using that feature as i do not think my fuel and timing maps are yet "perfect". you really need to completely tune everything in one set of conditions. then put the car hotter and colder conditions and only tweak the air temp adjustment.
another option is to run an amm instead of a map sensor. the amm will compensate more for air density, but, you have the restriction in the intake piping.
