Josh,
Hope all is well with you!
Our APC system will generally target a 20+ psi charge pressure and should provide consistency as long as the control unit does not detect detonation. Detonation can be caused by a lean fuel condition, advanced ignition timing, incorrect spark plug, low fuel octane, high compression ratio, etc.
Your fuel pressures should be rising relative to boost/charge pressures and if you are seeing a reduction of fuel pressures at WOT, make certain that this is not a direct action of a boost/charge pressure reduction (make sure that your fuel pressures are not only reducing when you experience a reduction in boost pressures). You could be seeing a volumetric limitation through your fuel pump and or lines but wondering about the specifics of your return line test?
Check the fuel filter and make certain that you do not have potential restrictions as this may limit overall fuel volume. We have seen slightly cavitating fuel pumps although this is fairly rare condition. You can perform a pressure test as well as a volumetric test on your OEM fuel pump and we can provide specifics for each.
Hopefully your condition has a simple solution and we look forward to hearing back from you at this BB!
Best of luck and regards,
Gary K at SWEDISH DYNAMICS,INC.
