Ignition Switch Conundrum

I have a sneaking suspicion that the ignition switch is not original on my '71 S3. It certainly doesn't match the diagrams found on saabsonett.org. There are two red wires coming out the side of the unit, and there is a section at the bottom that appears to be missing where the electrical contacts should be. Apparently the bottom half was originally held in place with two screws. The mount looks original/correct to me, but I have nothing to base that on. Can anyone tell me if what I've got just needs additional parts? Or should I try to replace the whole unit or bypass?
Also, anyone parting out a car? I'm just getting started and am missing a number of other bits and pieces in addition to this one.
